Clinical Nurse RN/LPN

RN Compensation up to $46.50 / hr LPN Compensation up to $37.00

Overview:

Under the guidance of the Unit Manager/ADON/DON, the RN/LPN takes on the responsibility and accountability for a designated group of residents/patients during their shift. Nursing care is delivered through assessment, implementation, and evaluation of the care plan. The RN/LPN adheres to the established standards of care for the area, manages the environment to ensure resident/patient safety, and oversees the performance of care activities by nursing assistants and support staff. Complies with all policies and procedures of Sunrise Health. Performs duties as outlined by the State Nurse Practice Act. Adheres to applicable accreditation standards.

Position Requirements:

  • Licensed in the State as a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
  • Current CPR certification is required
  • Proficient in using necessary medical supplies and equipment (feeding pumps, oxygen, treatment trays, medication cart, etc.)
  • Capable of calculating medication dosages
  • Meets all health requirements mandated by law
  • Ability to interact positively, effectively, and appropriately with residents, families, community members, volunteers, and other staff
  • Proficient in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding English
  • Demonstrated basic computer skills and an aptitude for learning company applications
  • Experience in a dynamic work environment
  • Previous experience in post-acute care is preferred
