Job Description:

The Facilities Operations Director is responsible for planning and developing the overall operation of the housekeeping department. This includes ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local standards and guidelines.

Responsibilities include staffing, scheduling, training, and developing hourly staff. The successful candidate will also manage the daily activities of the housekeeping department and direct team members to ensure the highest degree of guest satisfaction.

Key responsibilities include supervising all housekeeping employees, hiring new employees as needed, discharging employees when necessary, and taking disciplinary actions when policies are not followed.

Purchasing and maintaining housekeeping supplies and inventory is also a key responsibility. Knowledge of OSHA and safety standards within the housekeeping department is essential.
