Diagnostic Imaging Specialist - Contract Opportunity

We are seeking a highly motivated and energetic Diagnostic Imaging Specialist to join our team on a contract basis. As a Diagnostic Imaging Specialist, you will be responsible for operating magnetic resonance imaging equipment to produce high-quality images of patients' bodies for diagnostic purposes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate MRI equipment to produce high-quality images of patients' bodies
  • Under the direction of the Chief of Radiology and the Imaging Services Director, perform related technological functions to ensure optimal diagnostic quality of patient care
  • Interview patients to explain MRI procedures and address their concerns
  • Ensure patient and staff safety during MRI procedures

Requirements:

  • 2 years of experience as a MRI Technologist
  • License in required state
  • BLS
  • Ability to learn applications relevant to the position

Work Experience: At least 2 years of experience

Responsibilities:

  • MRI Technologist operates magnetic resonance imaging equipment to produce cross-sectional images (photographs) of patient`s body for diagnostic purposes
  • Under the direction of the Chief of Radiology and the Imaging Services Director, with latitude for independent judgment, ingenuity and initiative, performs related technological functions to ensure optimal diagnostic quality of patient care utilizing efficient and safe processes
