We are seeking an experienced and compassionate veterinarian to join our team as a Senior Veterinarian - Hospital Medicine Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care, leading medical teams, and collaborating with other hospital departments to ensure seamless delivery of services.

This position requires a strong commitment to quality, empathy, and excellent communication skills. You will work closely with our veterinary team to develop and implement treatment plans, perform surgeries, and provide medical guidance to support staff members.

• Key Responsibilities:
• Provide expert medical care to patients, including diagnosis, treatment, and surgery.
• Lead medical teams to achieve optimal patient outcomes and hospital performance metrics.
• Collaborate with other hospital departments to ensure effective communication and service delivery.
• Develop and implement treatment plans that meet individual patient needs.
• Mentor and educate staff members on best practices and new procedures.

To succeed in this role, you must possess:

• A Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree or equivalent from an AVMA-accredited veterinary school.
• Active licensure as a veterinarian without contingencies in the state where the hospital is located or ability to obtain by start date.
• Current DEA license.
• USDA Category I Accreditation or completion within two months of hire date.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with others in a fast-paced environment.
