We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at an Outpatient Clinic in Atlanta, Georgia.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of current experience in an inpatient psychiatric unit and will be responsible for providing total medical care for patients. This includes evaluating mental health needs, facilitating contraband searches, monitoring the mental health environment, developing treatment plans, and providing psychotherapy services.

Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate mental health needs of patients and develop treatment plans
  • Facilitate and conduct contraband searches
  • Monitor and conduct timely evaluations of the mental health environment
  • Provide psychotherapy services and personal care
  • Coordinate with families, doctors, and other health professionals
  • Administer medications as prescribed
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 3 years current experience in an inpatient psychiatric unit
  • Graduate of a school of professional nursing approved by the appropriate State-accrediting agency
  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or a related field is highly preferred
