We are seeking a highly skilled Pelvic Physical Therapist to join our team at AdventHealth Sports Med & Rehab. As a Pelvic Physical Therapist, you will be responsible for providing professional direct and indirect services to patients in the outpatient rehabilitation setting.
Key Responsibilities- Provide evidence-based standards of care and lifelong learning through autonomous and collaborative participation in research, journal club/reviews, teaching/mentoring/CI, and/or clinical practice education within a peer group
- Regularly participate in marketing to physicians/physician practices to build referral relationships with a minimum of 2 contacts per month
- Determine Physical Therapy Diagnosis and establish plan of care, make recommendations for referral if treatment needed outside of scope of Physical Therapist practice
- Eligible to perform Direct Access Physical Therapy in OP setting, as indicated per state Physical Therapy practice act
- Design and implement a treatment plan of care utilizing practice standards and recommended techniques and modalities, insurance guidelines, and patient's needs
- Licensed in the State of Florida as a Physical Therapist, or Temporary State of Florida permit as Physical Therapist
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
- Previous experience with pelvic caseload (preferred)
