We offer an extensive range of products, including marine lighting, navigation buoys, marine floats, port entry lighting systems, lighthouse lighting, and monitoring and control systems, ensuring safe maritime navigation.
Work Schedule: 1st Shift: 6:00am - 2:30pm
Compensation: $20.00/hour
Key Responsibilities:
This position involves assembling and testing production components for the aviation sector, emphasizing quality, safety, and timely delivery.
- Adhere to safe work practices and foster a culture of safety in all tasks.
- Prepare to execute assembly work orders according to technical instructions, CAD drawings, wiring diagrams, and standard operating procedures.
- Utilize appropriate hand and power tools, along with personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Assist engineering teams with prototype assembly and troubleshooting.
- Evaluate the quality of materials and components used in production.
- Document assembly processes by completing production and quality forms.
- Test finished products to ensure proper functionality.
- Transfer completed products to Quality Control.
- Maintain tools and equipment used in production.
- Collaborate with Quality Control to ensure calibrated equipment is properly maintained.
- Keep a clean and organized workspace.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in electromechanical assembly
- Familiarity with wiring harnesses, soldering, drilling, and AC & DC currents
- Ability to read and follow detailed instructions
- Capacity to work independently and collaboratively within a team
- Experience in a production environment is preferred.
