We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse First Assist RNFA PRN to join our team at Johnston-Willis Hospital. As a key member of our Surgical Services department, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and supporting our surgeons in the operating room.
Responsibilities- Utilize principles of aseptic technique to create and maintain a sterile field.
- Plan and provide equipment and supplies based on patient and physician needs.
- Demonstrate competency in assisting surgeons as it relates to unit scope of care.
- Promote cost containment while delivering quality patient care within the operating room.
- Participate in on-call assignments and demonstrate flexibility to cover staffing as needed.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support certification within 30 days of employment start date.
- Certified Nurse Operating Room (CNOR) certification.
- Certified Registered Nurse First Assistant (CRNFA) certification.
- Registered Nurse licensure.
