Job Summary

FedEx is seeking a reliable and efficient Courier/Driver to join our team. As a key member of our delivery network, you will be responsible for operating company vehicles and providing exceptional customer service to our clients.

Responsibilities

* Operate company vehicles safely and efficiently to deliver packages to customers within a designated service area
* Provide courteous and professional service to customers, responding to their needs and resolving any issues that may arise
* Check shipments for conformance to FedEx features of service and ensure that all packages are delivered on time
* Perform other duties as assigned by management, such as providing coverage for all assigned routes within the station's service area

Requirements

* High school diploma or equivalent required
* Six months of courier experience preferred
* Ability to lift 50 pounds and maneuver packages of any weight with appropriate equipment and/or assistance
* Good human relations and verbal communication skills
* Thorough knowledge of the station's service area preferred

Working Conditions

* Must meet and maintain the qualifications as outlined in the federal motor carrier safety regulations
* Requires medical exam in accordance with FMCSA or FAA regulations
* Must obtain and maintain a valid driver's license in accordance with state requirements for type of vehicle assigned

Preferred Qualifications

* Pay: $21.36
