Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee client engagement teams and various stakeholders throughout the lifecycle of complex projects, including initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and closure. Responsibilities include tracking project progress, managing scope changes, schedules, budgets, and preparing reports and presentations for clients and stakeholders.
- Support business development initiatives by identifying opportunities, developing proposals, and collaborating with KPMG resources across different service lines.
- Work closely with the engagement team to create project charters and maintain execution plans, including defining scope, schedules, budgets, and communication strategies, while building trust-based relationships with senior executives.
- Lead the KPMG Tax team in delivering services and fulfilling commitments outlined in signed agreements, ensuring compliance with KPMG's engagement and financial management policies.
- Manage the project change control process and assist clients in driving and completing programs, establishing frameworks, and resolving issues that may impede progress.
- Ensure adherence to standardized project management processes and tools throughout the project lifecycle, fulfilling all reporting requirements and advocating for project management principles.
- A minimum of five years of recent experience in Program, Project, and Portfolio Management, with a focus on assessing and planning enterprise IT capabilities and transforming large-scale technology initiatives.
- A Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution; a Master's degree is preferred.
- Experience in planning or leading SAP-enabled transformations or SAP technology implementation projects across various sectors.
- Possession of a CPA, JD/LLM, or EA designation, along with other credentials listed by KPMG; candidates must obtain at least one approved designation within one year of hire.
- Proven experience navigating multi-vendor environments and building collaborative relationships based on trust and respect.
- Demonstrated ability to lead teams of varying sizes in delivering services, including managing remote or offshore resources, while consistently achieving high-quality results and identifying new business opportunities.
