About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced trial attorney to join our team at State Farm Mutual Automobile Insurance Company. As a trial attorney, you will be responsible for handling a high-volume caseload from discovery stage through trial, demonstrating exceptional knowledge of civil procedure, evidence, and trial procedures.

Responsibilities
  • Handle a high-volume caseload from discovery stage through trial
  • Develop and implement effective litigation strategies
  • Conduct research and analysis to support case development
  • Prepare and present cases in court
  • Collaborate with support staff to manage clerical and administrative matters related to lawsuit handling
Requirements
  • Law degree from an ABA-accredited law school
  • Active license to practice law in New York and membership in good standing with the state bar
  • 1-10 years of insurance defense litigation/trial experience
  • Experience working in a paperless environment
  • Strong automation/technological skills for lawsuit handling and courtroom presentation
What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary range of $125,625.00-$160,000, with potential yearly incentive pay up to 16% of base salary. Our team is committed to providing a congenial, team-oriented, and professional work environment with skilled support staff.
