Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Weekend Equipment Specialist to join our team at Johnson Controls International. This individual will be responsible for maintaining University Housing Buildings and Grounds, with a focus on HVAC, Mechanical Systems, and building maintenance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform a variety of repairs and services in a specialized building system environment, with a high emphasis on HVAC, Mechanical Systems, building maintenance, carpentry, painting, and plumbing.
  • Work from drawings, schematics, blueprints, job layouts, or verbal instructions, and operate a variety of tools and machines incidental to operations.
  • Participate in an on-call rotation schedule to attend to emergency situations at the facility.
  • Comply with all company policies and procedures, and adhere to company standards.
  • Maintain all HVAC systems, including AHU's, Chillers, DX sys, pumps, cooling towers, boilers, etc.
  • Operate and troubleshoot Fire Alarm and Fire Suppression Systems.
  • Knowledge in building Security Systems, including card readers, surveillance cameras, and electronic locking systems, is a plus.
  • Proven Electrical system working knowledge is a plus.
Requirements
  • Completion of a two-year technical degree, or equivalent, or two years' experience in a Facility Maintenance environment.
  • Ability to work weekends and holidays as needed.
  • Required to use a variety of hand and power tools, or man lift.
  • Must be a team player committed to working in a quality environment.
