Airframe Technician

Job OverviewAirframe and Powerplant Mechanics play a critical role in ensuring the safe operation of aircraft. We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated A&P Mechanic to join our team at PRIME Traffic Control.

Estimated Salary: $58,000/year

As an A&P Mechanic, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance and repairs on aircraft, inspecting and testing systems, and reporting any issues to the maintenance supervisor. You will work closely with other mechanics to ensure that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean and organized working environment.
• Perform duties delegated by the Director of Maintenance or designee.
• Inspect and test systems, component parts used and sign for work performed.
• Perform maintenance and repairs on aircraft for which technician is assigned and qualified.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) certification as an Airframe and Powerplant Mechanic.
• Ability to accommodate travel requirements.
• Authorized to work in the United States.

Work EnvironmentThe work environment for this position will be in an aircraft hangar, and occasional travel may be required. You will be subject to standing, walking, kneeling, climbing, bending, reaching, stooping, and lifting or pushing objects up to 50 pounds at times. There may also be exposure to dangerous machinery, extreme noise, and physical harm in areas requiring hard hats, safety glasses, and steel-toed safety shoes.
