Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate RN Charge Nurse to join our team at Chelsey Park Health & Rehab. As a key member of our nursing staff, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, leading a team of nursing professionals, and ensuring the smooth operation of our healthcare services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess and document patient condition, ensuring accurate and timely reporting to healthcare teams.
  • Operate and maintain medical equipment, including oxygen therapy, suction machines, and manual respirators.
  • Administer medications, including insulin, PRN medications, and narcotic medications, while maintaining accurate documentation and records.
  • Provide education and training to unlicensed nursing personnel, promoting a culture of excellence and teamwork.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans, ensuring effective communication and coordination of care.
  • Manage and supervise nursing staff, providing guidance, support, and feedback to ensure high-quality patient care.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
Requirements
  • Nursing degree from an accredited college or university or completion of an approved RN program.
  • Active RN license to practice in the State of Georgia.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
  • Proficient in using computer software, including Microsoft Office, Excel, and PowerPoint.
