Tact Staff is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg / Telemetry for a travel nursing job in a beautiful hospital in Illinois. The unit is Med Surg/ TELE - Inpatient Surgical - 3rd floor with 48 beds. Nurse:Patient Ratios are 1:4-6. The hospital requires clinical prescreening and has a primary care nursing model. The travel nurse must be okay with this model and have experience with PCA pumps, reversal drugs, and sepsis management. The hospital is looking for a nurse with total joint experience and a strong understanding of narcotics usage. The travel nurse will work 12-hour shifts, 36 hours per week, and will be required to float to like units only. The hospital provides black scrubs and has a fast-paced environment with heavy patient loads.
