Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate and assess existing avionics equipment to identify areas for improvement.
  • Recommend and implement upgrades and modifications to ensure optimal performance and safety.
  • Analyze the compatibility and suitability of electronic devices to ensure seamless integration.
  • Service and maintain electronic components to prevent equipment failure.
  • Conduct quality checks on completed work to ensure adherence to industry standards.
  • Troubleshoot electronic issues to resolve technical problems efficiently.
  • Monitor supplies and materials to prevent shortages and ensure timely completion of projects.
  • Assist customers in selecting peripherals and monitoring devices to meet their specific needs.
  • Coordinate repair and modification activities with the Avionics Installer to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Respond to weekend service calls within 20 minutes to provide timely support to customers.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Knowledge of Repair Station Manual, Federal Aviation Regulations, Airworthiness Directives, Advisory Circulars, and manufacturer's service bulletins.
  • Strong understanding of electronic circuitry and ability to read and interpret electronic diagrams and drawings.
