Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team at UCHealth. As a key member of our pulmonary function testing team, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic tests on patients with respiratory disorders.

About the Role:

  • Perform and document ordered testing, evaluating test results for patient response, artifact, and quality control.
  • Communicate results to physicians for interpretation and educate patients about respiratory disorders, treatment, and community resources.
  • Maintain and troubleshoot pulmonary function test equipment, ensuring optimal performance and accuracy.

Requirements:

  • Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Therapy program.
  • Registered as a Respiratory Therapist (RRT) by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC). State licensure if required by law.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider certification and any additional life support certification as determined at the Position Level.
