We are seeking a skilled Cargo Handler to join our team at San Francisco International Airport (SFO). As a Cargo Handler, you will be responsible for receiving, storing, and distributing freight while ensuring the highest level of safety and efficiency.

• Read and interpret air waybills, bills of lading, and freight manifests to determine the items to be moved, gathered, or distributed.
• Convey freight from receiving areas to storage or to other designated areas using forklifts or transporters.
• Sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequences.
• Sort and store hazardous materials in designated areas.
• Fill requisitions, work orders, or requests for materials, tools, or other stock items and distribute them to other locations.
• Open bales, crates, and other containers for breakdown and record counts of items received or distributed.
• Weigh and count items for distribution within the warehouse to ensure conformance to company standards and air waybills.
• Perform cargo build-up and/or breakdowns, freight to and/or from skids, pallets, or ULDs.
• Ensure that work areas are clean and hazard-free of loose nets, straps, etc.
• Follow all security procedures as required.

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Possess and maintain a valid California driver's license.
• Must be able to pass all pre-employment testing, including drug testing and a physical.
• Ability to proficiently read, write, and speak English.
• Must be comfortable lifting 70lbs repetitively.
• Must be comfortable working in all weather conditions.
• Pass FBI background checks and obtain US Customs Seal.
• Must be available and flexible to work variable shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Prior loading and unloading of heavy products or equipment is preferred.
• Forklift certification is preferred.
