Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Orthopedic Trauma Surgery Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our team in Phoenix, Arizona. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will provide comprehensive acute care to patients with orthopedic conditions, including preoperative, perioperative, and postoperative care. Your responsibilities will include assisting with inpatient management, rotating first call for the orthopedic service, and participating in quality assurance and quality improvement initiatives. In addition, you will work closely with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care, communicate effectively with patients and families, and maintain accurate and timely documentation. Additional duties may include consulting on ER patients, providing diagnosis, appropriate plan of care, and referrals as needed. The candidate will also order, interpret, and analyze diagnostic tests, prescribe and administer medications and physical therapy as necessary, and participate in multidisciplinary teams to improve patient outcomes.
