We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Outpatient Mental Health Therapist to join our team at Discovery Mood & Anxiety Program. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will provide high-quality treatment services to patients with mental health disorders.
Key Responsibilities- Provide individual and group therapy sessions to patients, focusing on evidence-based treatment modalities.
- Conduct clinical assessments and develop treatment plans in collaboration with the treatment team.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and coordination of services.
- Document patient progress and maintain accurate and timely clinical records.
- Participate in treatment team meetings and contribute to the development of treatment plans.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families on mental health topics and treatment options.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that address the unique needs of each patient.
- Monitor patient progress and make adjustments to treatment plans as needed.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless care coordination and transitions.
- Master's or Doctorate degree in a relevant field, such as psychology, social work, or counseling.
- Completion of state requirements to conduct therapeutic interventions.
- Ability to work under supervision and provide high-quality care in a fast-paced environment.
- CPR, AED, and First Aid certification within 90 days of hire.
- Current driver's license and a good driving record.
