Job Description

Overview

At Otter Learning, we are seeking experienced and passionate educators to join our team as Early Childhood Educators. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in inspiring children to be lifelong learners through our play-based curriculum.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and implement age-appropriate activities to promote the intellectual, physical, emotional, and social development of children.
  • Prepare children for kindergarten by easing them into organized education from infancy to school age using our provided curriculum.
  • Assist with daily childcare tasks such as feeding, changing, and nap time.
  • Maintain interactive and open communication with parents and other team members using our Classroom Management system.
  • Lead Teachers will oversee classroom management, design lesson plans, and fulfill requests made by the Assistant Director/Director.

Requirements

  • Must be 18 years or older (16 years old in some states) under Licensing standards.
  • High school diploma or GED required for Teacher positions.
  • Minimum of 6 months experience or related degree/certification required for Assistant Director role and above.
