Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Guitar Technician to join our team at Guitar Center. As a key member of our repair services team, you will be responsible for providing top-notch maintenance and repair services on customer-owned instruments, as well as assisting in maintaining specific store inventory.
Key Responsibilities
- Interact with customers to ensure a positive experience, addressing any concerns or issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Service customer-owned instruments with exceptional craftsmanship, utilizing your expertise to restore them to their former glory.
- Maintain store-owned gear, adhering to high standards of quality and attention to detail.
- Complete warranty repair work efficiently and effectively, meeting customer expectations.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
Requirements
- Demonstrate a skilled understanding of repairing guitars, showcasing expertise in instrument restoration and maintenance.
Preferred Qualifications
- Possess foundational product knowledge on Guitar Center products, enabling you to provide informed advice and assistance to customers.
Compensation and Benefits
We offer a competitive salary range of $14.42-$27.44 per hour, plus commission opportunities based on performance and experience. Additionally, you will enjoy a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, 401(k) with company match, mental health support, paid sick/holiday/vacation time, employee discount program, and tuition reimbursement options.
