Overview

Concentra is seeking a skilled Physician to join our team in a PRN capacity. As a vital member of our patient care team, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional care to our patients. Our mission is to improve the health of America's workforce, one patient at a time.

Responsibilities
  • Perform medical assessments of Center patients
  • Establish and monitor a medically appropriate level of care for center patients
  • Maintain clinical core competency
  • Assure compliance with licensing, certification, and accrediting bodies
  • Meet with employers to discuss health and safety needs and conduct workplace walk-throughs and other on-site assessments
  • Regularly call client representatives upon seeing employee patients for initial injuries and change of duty status
  • In the absence of the Center Medical Director, provide guidance to other medical staff to ensure Concentra's mission is achieved
  • Provide an excellent, compassionate, and warm patient experience regardless of patient volume
  • Ability to manage time, prioritize, and multitask in a busy environment
Qualifications
  • Board eligibility or certification in an ABMS or AOA recognized specialty preferred
  • Degree must be from an accredited college or university
  • Licensure requirements of the state of jurisdiction - Florida ACN license not accepted
  • Unrestricted DEA license for the state of jurisdiction
  • FMCSA NRCME required prior to start date (we provide this CME to those not already certified)
