Pastry Chef

We are seeking a skilled Pastry Cook I to join our culinary team at The Ritz-Carlton Bacara Santa Barbara. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing a variety of baked goods, including breads and pastries, to the highest standards of quality and presentation.

• Prepare doughs and fillings, proof, bake, and decorate pastries as required
• Review production sheets to understand daily baked goods requirements
• Prepare and cook food according to recipes, quality, and presentation standards
• Maintain kitchen logs for food safety program compliance
• Assist in maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment

• At least 2 years of related work experience
• Technical, trade, or vocational school degree
• Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high standards of quality
