Travel Nurse

American Medical Staffing is seeking a travel nurse for a correctional care position in a correctional facility.

• Pay Rate: $50-$52 per hour
• Schedule: 2:45p – 11:00p
• Available Shift: 8 hour day shift, PRN basis and must be committed to working Holidays
• Requirements: Qualified applicants MUST have at least one year of experience, preferably in a corrections or similar setting, have a valid RN compact license or be willing to obtain NJ licensure.

As a Registered Nurse in a correctional care setting, you'll play a crucial role in providing comprehensive healthcare services to incarcerated individuals, promoting their well-being and rehabilitation. This position works in partnership with a team of correctional staff and allows you to make a meaningful difference in the lives of patients.

• Assessing patient health status, developing care plans, and implementing nursing interventions as needed
• Administering medications and treatments according to physician orders and established protocols
• Monitoring patient vital signs, symptoms, and responses to treatment, adjusting care plans as necessary
• Collaborating with healthcare team members, correctional staff, and community resources to ensure continuity of care
• Documenting patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately and timely
