Key Responsibilities- Champion novel solutions for advanced modeling techniques.
- Develop new C++ models in an extensible and maintainable fashion.
- Deploy EO or Radio Frequency (RF) phenomenology and advanced physics concepts in a software implementation.
- Enable our customer's success through adoption and utilization of modeling solutions.
- Work efficiently inside an established software product, across programming languages, and technical environments.
- Research and develop novel EO or RF modeling solutions.
- Coordinate with multiple development teams to prioritize and solve complex software and physics problems.
- Mentor and share EO or RF expertise with your team.
- Typically requires a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science, Physics, Mathematics, or a related STEM degree and ten (10) years or more of documented work and/or academic experience in the following areas:
- Experience applying object-oriented software design, programming in C or C++, and using MATLAB or Python for evaluation of data sets
- Experience with UNIX/Linux, Apple OS, or Windows DOS command line
- Experience in Electro-Optics (EO), radar processing, Imaging EO/IR/RF systems, energy transport, radar physics, signal processing or discrimination algorithms
- The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
- Advanced Degree in Engineering, Science, Mathematics, or related STEM degree
- Experience with OpenGL, CUDA, or other GPU accelerated languages/architectures and Scene Generation / Sensor Modeling technologies
- Experience with electronic warfare modeling, developing signal processing algorithms for missile applications, signal & image processing, digital communications, or estimation theory, or AI/ML and training techniques
- Experience with Real-time Programming, software change management tools and processes, using and augmenting Build Systems (Make/CMake), and working with large production software environment
- Experience with and ability to interface with adjacent engineering disciplines (Signal Processing, Systems Engineering, Hardware Engineering)
- Current Department of Defense Clearance

Hired applicants may be eligible for benefits, including but not limited to, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, flexible work schedules, employee assistance program, Employee Scholar Program, parental leave, paid time off, and holidays. Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company's performance.
