Job Summary:
The Police Officer is responsible for ensuring the safety and security of patients, visitors, and staff by patrolling assigned areas, maintaining visitor control, and investigating irregularities. This role requires strong communication skills to provide information and assistance to patients, visitors, and staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Patrol assigned areas to maintain a safe and secure environment
- Maintain visitor control and investigate irregularities
- Provide information and assistance to patients, visitors, and staff
- Collaborate with the Campus Police & Public Safety department to promote a safe and secure environment
Requirements:
- 2 Years Law Enforcement Experience Preferred
- High School Diploma or Equivalent Required
- Associate's Degree in Police Science or Related Field Preferred
- Certified by NC Training and Standards Commission or Basic Law Enforcement Training within the last 12 months Required
Work Schedule:
B Squad 6p-6a
Weekend and Call Requirements:
Every Other Weekend, No Call Requirements
