Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Social Media Manager to lead our social media strategy and presence. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of consumer behavior and a passion for social media and sports.

The Social Media Manager will be responsible for owning the planning and day-to-day execution of key social media channels, including Instagram, Facebook, X, TikTok, and YouTube. This role will also lead race coverage on all social media channels, defining the strategy and approach for race weekends.

The successful candidate will have exceptional communication skills, including writing and grammatical ability, and business judgment with strategic and analytical capabilities. They will also be able to prioritize and multitask, managing multiple projects with tight timelines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy to engage existing fans and reach a new audience.
  • Manage all social media channels, including content creation, publishing, and monitoring.
  • Lead race coverage on all social media channels, defining the strategy and approach for race weekends.
  • Collaborate with the Sr Manager, Video Content to develop content ideation and calendar management.
  • Track and tag weekly performance trends and KPIs, building out key reports and learnings.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in social and content strategy development, community management, and storytelling with a national/regional brand or agency.
  • Strong understanding of today's social media landscape and creative formats.
  • Exceptional communication skills, including writing and grammatical ability.
  • Business judgment: strategic and analytical capabilities.
  • Ability to prioritize and multitask, managing multiple projects with tight timelines.

Work Environment:

The Social Media Manager will work in a general office environment with no extraordinary physical demands required. Travel to race events and/or extended hours may be required at times.
