Job Summary

Watlow is seeking a skilled Thermal Engineering Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and developing thermal systems for various industries, including glass, heat treat, life science, food and beverage, plastics, and water.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop thermal systems, including process control, application engineering, and control panel design.
  • Work closely with global clients to understand their thermal system requirements and provide solutions.
  • Collaborate with senior engineers to develop technical capabilities and ensure compliance with industry regulations.
  • Participate in customer acceptance and application testing, including factory acceptance testing (FAT) and site acceptance testing (SAT).
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including application specifications and operations/training manuals.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or other relevant field.
  • 5-8 years of experience in industrial controls or project engineering.
  • Excellent computer skills, including familiarity with control instrumentation and configuration/programming of micro-based instrumentation.
  • Knowledge of AutoCAD drawing package and self-motivation with good communication skills.
