MSN Critical Care Clinician

CAMC Health System is seeking a highly skilled MSN Critical Care Clinician to join our team in the surgical intensive care unit. As a key member of our team, you will provide critical care to surgical patients and work closely with surgical intensivists to develop and implement management plans.
The ideal candidate will have ICU experience, a certification in critical care, and a strong passion for teaching and learning from trainees in various training programs. You will have the opportunity to participate in the development of a new service line, learn and perform bedside procedures, and contribute to research focused on acute care surgery and surgical critical care.
This is a full-time position with competitive pay and benefits, including medical, dental, and vision plans, retirement packages, life insurance, and PTO. The salary for this role is estimated to be around $120,000 per year, based on industry standards and location.
Responsibilities and Requirements
- Provide critical care to surgical patients in the intensive care unit.
- Work closely with surgical intensivists to develop and implement management plans.
- Participate in the development of a new service line.
- Learn and perform bedside procedures, including placement of arterial catheters and central venous catheters.
- Contribute to research focused on acute care surgery and surgical critical care.
- MSN degree.
- Advanced Practice Registered Nurse or Physician Assistant's license.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification within 1 year of hire.
- Basic Life Support certification within 30 days of hire.
