Capital City Club Brookhaven is seeking a skilled and friendly Host/Hostess to join our team. As a Host/Hostess, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our members and guests, ensuring a seamless dining experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet and seat members in a timely fashion and assist them to their table(s).
  • Conduct walk-throughs of dining room areas and check for defects, ensuring seating arrangements are in order.
  • Check reservation lists and make any necessary callbacks.
  • Communicate with servers and managers about when reservations arrive and if any other edits are made.
  • Assist members and other staff whenever possible, including running food, beverage service, clearing tables, and any other tasks that may benefit from your assistance.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 18 years of age.
  • Available to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Minimum one year of experience as host/hostess or a customer service role. Experience in private clubs and/or fine dining a plus.
  • Attention to detail and ability to perform job functions with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to accurately read and input data into our reservation/point-of-sale system.
  • A high-energy and fun-loving personality with a positive attitude.

Compensation:

  • $12-$13/hour.
  • Benefits package (requires minimum 90 days full-time employment): health, dental, vision insurance; retirement plan; paid time off.
