HVAC Supervisor

About the Role:

• The position of HVAC Foreman in our New Home Construction Division is now available. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing and directing field personnel to ensure timely and quality completion of residential new construction projects.
• Your expertise in HVAC systems and leadership skills will enable you to evaluate work quality at each phase of construction, provide guidance to subcontractors and field personnel, and assist with complex project installation challenges.
• We are seeking an experienced professional with 5 years of HVAC new construction experience, including 2 years of leadership experience, who can inspire great pride in their work and contribute to our company's growth as experienced professionals.
• This full-time position typically works Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM, with overtime expected during peak periods.

Responsibilities:

1. Provide oversight and direction for field personnel engaged in the installation and repair of HVAC systems.
2. Ensure all equipment and materials are on site prior to scheduling labor for installations.
3. Manage labor, including Sobieski employees and subcontractors, and conduct regular inspections of work in progress and on completion.
4. Recruit and train skilled and trade helper personnel, establish safety and work performance standards for subordinates, and perform related work as required.
5. Participate in complex HVAC tasks, confer with officials on proposed HVAC projects, and make recommendations.

Requirements:

• 5 years of HVAC new construction experience with 2 years of leadership experience required.
• Journeyman certification preferred but multiple factors will be taken into consideration.
• Effective problem-solving skills, diplomacy, mentoring abilities, passion for quality, good communication, and interpersonal skills.
