In your role as a Physical Therapist, you will be responsible for overseeing and enhancing the operations of the Physical Therapy department.
Your duties will include working closely with our medical team to assess patients, create tailored treatment plans, and ensure the highest quality of physical therapy services.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Analyze physician referrals and patient medical histories to determine necessary physical therapy interventions.
2. Conduct assessments to evaluate patients' strength, motor skills, sensory perception, functional capabilities, and overall health, documenting findings to develop or modify treatment strategies.
4. Monitor treatment outcomes and make adjustments to care plans as required.
5. Maintain accurate records of treatment sessions, patient responses, and progress in medical charts.
6. Guide and supervise the activities of therapy assistants.
Qualifications:
We are looking for candidates who possess the following qualifications:
- A Bachelor's degree from an accredited Physical Therapy program recognized by the American Physical Therapy Association.
- Previous experience in a similar role is advantageous.
- A valid Texas Physical Therapy License and eligibility for professional membership in the American Physical Therapy Association are required.
