About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cafeteria Cook to join our team at the Lebanon Special School District. As a key member of our food service team, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking large quantities of main dishes, baked goods, and other foods.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation and Cooking: Follow menus and recipes to prepare and cook main dishes, baked goods, and other foods.
  • Food Safety and Sanitation: Maintain a clean and safe food service environment, adhering to all relevant health and safety regulations.
  • Inventory Management: Assist in managing food supplies and equipment, ensuring that all necessary items are available and in good condition.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service to students, staff, and visitors, ensuring that all food service interactions are positive and professional.
  • Teamwork: Collaborate with other food service staff to ensure that all food service operations run smoothly and efficiently.
Requirements
  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience: At least 2 years of experience in quantity cooking in a commercial or industrial setting.
  • Skills: Ability to lift and move heavy objects, work in a fast-paced environment, and maintain a high level of attention to detail.
  • Certifications: Food safety certification and any other relevant certifications.
