We are seeking a highly skilled Pediatric Registered Respiratory Therapist (Peds-RRT) to join our team for an immediate travel position in Huntley, IL.

Job Summary

The ideal candidate will have 1 year of recent acute care experience and be certified as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT). As a Peds-RRT, you will provide direct patient care to patients in a variety of clinical areas, including evaluations and treatments according to procedural guidelines.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer respiratory and cardiology modalities to patients
  • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
  • Clean, disinfect, and maintain respiratory and cardiology equipment
  • Evaluate equipment for proper function and report malfunctions
  • Perform arterial puncture and analyze samples according to procedure guidelines
  • Interact with healthcare team members to optimize patient care
  • Respond to emergent situations requiring respiratory support
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must be able to stand and walk for long periods, lift up to 50 pounds, and have specific vision abilities. You must also have 1 year of experience, be certified as an RRT, and hold BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.

Please note that additional certifications may be required before beginning an assignment.
