Key Responsibilities:- Assist veterinarians with surgical procedures, including preparation, anesthesia monitoring, and post-operative care.
- Provide exceptional patient care, including restraint, triage, and management of medical and hospitalized cases.
- Collect and analyze lab samples, perform diagnostic imaging, and administer medications as needed.
- Communicate effectively with clients, providing clear and concise information about treatment plans and patient care.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay up-to-date on the latest surgical techniques and best practices.
- 2+ years of experience as a certified veterinary technician or equivalent.
- Proficiency in anesthesia and surgical monitoring, with a strong understanding of pre-operative care, preparation for surgical procedures, and post-operative care.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment.
- Ability to interpret medical records and record client history accurately.
