About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Cytotechnologist to join our team at Della Infotech. As a Cytotechnologist, you will play a critical role in the diagnosis and treatment of various diseases by examining and interpreting cytological preparations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Microscopically evaluate gynecological and nongynecological cytologic preparations according to laboratory procedures and workload policies.
  • Communicate abnormal or significant findings to the pathologist for review and reporting of cytologic results.
  • Follow established policies and procedures in carrying out job responsibilities.
  • Participate in the evaluation of new techniques and procedures in the laboratory.
  • Give direction and guidance to technical support personnel as needed.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university required.
  • Successful completion of a 12-month CAAHEP accredited Cytotechnology program required.
  • Minimum of one year current cytology experience required.
  • CT (ASCP) certification required within 6 months of hire and maintained as a condition of continued employment.
