Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated CT Technologist to join our dynamic team at St. Luke's Hospital. As a key member of our Imaging Department, you will be responsible for performing CT scans and assisting radiologists during invasive procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform CT scans and assist radiologists during invasive procedures
  • Communicate clinical observations and present patient history to radiologists
  • Demonstrate competency in RIS/HIS modules and inject contrast for CT scans
  • Provide educational information to patients and maintain responsibility for own professional development
  • Accurately adhere to downtime procedures and verify patient information prior to sending to PACS
Requirements
  • Graduate of an ARRT recognized School of Radiologic Technology
  • Current state license (NJDEP) and appropriate registry (ARRT)
  • Advanced registry in CT required within 1 year of hire
  • Current BLS certification within 3 months of hire
Working Conditions

Frequent use of hands and fingers to operate equipment and chart information. Sitting for up to 5 hours in 30 minute increments. Standing and walking for up to 3 hours in 15 minute increments. Pushing, pulling, and lifting of patients up to 300 pounds with assistance.
