Job Description
This position involves preparing and maintaining the operating room for all surgical procedures, circulating and scrubbing during surgeries, and responding to emergencies such as cardiac arrest or hemorrhage. You will also be responsible for monitoring patients' vital signs and communicating with physicians to ensure seamless care delivery. Additionally, you will assist with the management of day-to-day activities, prioritize tasks, and operate personal computers to access email and other office software.
Requirements and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you must have a minimum of three years of experience in OR nursing, a current unrestricted U.S. state license as a Registered Nurse, and maintain current certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS) and/or Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), and Certification Board of Infection Control and Epidemiology, Inc. (CBIC/CIC). You should also participate in training, including HIPAA training, and have recent clinical experience in patient care for at least six months out of the past year. A favorable security background check and drug screen are required. Your salary will be approximately $95,000 annually.
