Position Overview:

As a Sonographer Specialist, you will deliver high-quality imaging services to all patients within the medical imaging department. Your responsibilities will include performing detailed imaging and examinations while being sensitive to patient needs and adhering to established safety protocols for radiation.

We expect you to exemplify leadership among fellow technologists, serve as a clinical resource for unit personnel, and ensure compliance with current standards of practice.


Qualifications:
To be considered for this position, candidates should possess the following qualifications:
Education:
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Associate's Degree strongly preferred
Experience:
- Minimum of one year of ultrasound experience strongly preferred
Licenses/Certifications:
- ARDMS registration required (RDMS in OB/GYN or AB or BR);

or ARRT registration as R.T.(S)(ARRT) or R.T.(S)(BS)(ARRT) or ARDMS registered RVT(VT) with OB or ABD required within one year of hire, or ARRT registered - R.T.(S)(VS)(ARRT)
or ARDMS registered RDCS(AE) or (PE) or Cardiovascular Credentialing International (RCS)

- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association required
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to exert up to 50 lbs of force occasionally, and/or up to 20 lbs frequently, and/or up to 10 lbs constantly.
