Position Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist to work with school-aged children. This role offers the flexibility to create your own schedule while making a significant impact on the lives of children and their families.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement innovative therapeutic strategies tailored to individual and group needs.
  • Conduct and document comprehensive speech and language assessments.
  • Maintain ongoing communication with supervisors and coordinators regarding case management.
  • Foster professional relationships with families, educational teams, and other specialists.
  • Ensure accurate and timely documentation of attendance and billing.
  • Coordinate schedules with families and school personnel.
  • Track progress on IEP/IFSP goals and provide quarterly reports.
  • Participate in initial CPSE/CSE meetings and annual reviews.

Evaluation Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough evaluations in various settings, including clinics and homes.
  • Prepare detailed reports highlighting children's strengths and challenges.
  • Collaborate effectively with parents, educators, and evaluation teams.
  • Establish functional goals aligned with IEP directives.

Qualifications:

  • Current New York State Licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist.
  • Relevant NYSED Certifications (TSSLD or TSHH).
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP).
  • A minimum of one year of experience in a child-focused setting.
  • Bilingual skills are advantageous.
