Radiologic Imaging Specialist

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team at ConvenientMD. As a Radiologic Technologist, you will be responsible for performing radiologic procedures and studies, as well as maintaining and managing radiographic equipment.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and perform radiologic procedures following CMD and ARRT protocols and procedures, utilizing all radiation protection and shielding equipment following ALARA principles.
- Navigate the PACS system to confirm studies for interpretation, send studies to outside facilities, communicate with radiologists, and clarify discrepancies with teleradiology.
- Assist with other clinic functions, such as patient triage and POC testing, to ensure superior customer satisfaction and operation.
- Provide telephone communication, including verification and clarification of outside radiology orders and requests for copies of radiographs taken at CMD.
- Ensure the operation of clinical equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements and reporting repair needs to the clinic PM.
About You
- You must be currently state-licensed and hold ARRT certification.
- AHA BLS for Healthcare Providers Certification is preferred, but American Red Cross BLS Certification is also accepted.
- You must be able to work 12-hour shifts and weekends.
