Job Summary

We're looking to add a Mold Maker - Night Shift located in Buffalo Grove, IL. Reporting to the Tooling Manager, the Mold Maker - Night Shift role involves being responsible for a variety of molding and tooling activities.

Responsibilities
  • Comply with ISO:9001 standard.
  • Plan sequence of operations for mold construction.
  • Detail all additional work authorized by the Project Work Order.
  • Responsible for the quality of work; Maintain ongoing inspection for work pieces.
  • Assembly all the mold components and verify proper tool function.
  • Read blueprints of the mold and plastic piece part and verify specifications.
  • Need to know Solidworks software and learn how to use Jobpack.
  • Work with the design engineering department to assure the mold drawings are "As Build".
  • Support with knowledge all the apprentices.
  • Follow all company Safety policies and procedures.
  • Required to assist with mold repair concerns.
  • Committed to continuous improvement.
Requirements
  • Associate's degree or equivalent apprenticeship and/or education preferred.
  • 5 years minimum experience in mold manufacturing required.
