Job Summary

As a Nuclear Medicine Technologist at HCA Florida Raulerson Hospital, you will play a critical role in administering nuclear isotopes for diagnostic purposes. This position requires a high degree of independent judgment, ingenuity, and initiative to apply isotopes for radiographic diagnosis.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform technical-level procedures under the guidance of a Nuclear Medicine Physician.
  • Regulate equipment used to scan for isotopes and send images to PACS.
  • Assist in the daily operation of the Nuclear Medicine Department.
  • Establish and maintain a good rapport and professional relationship with fellow employees.
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited program in Nuclear Medicine or Radiographer.
  • Certified Radiology Technologist with the Florida Department of Health.
  • AART Certification in Nuclear Medicine or Radiology.
  • Basic Life Support.

HCA Florida Raulerson Hospital is a 100-bed acute care facility in Okeechobee County, offering inpatient and outpatient services. We are licensed by Florida's Agency for Health Care Administration as a Primary Stroke Center and provide diagnostic services accredited by the American College of Radiology.
