About the Job

OneStaff Medical is seeking a skilled Labor and Delivery Nurse to join our team for a travel nursing assignment in a hospital setting.

Job Summary

We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Labor and Delivery Nurse to provide high-quality patient care and support to women during labor and childbirth. As a Labor and Delivery Nurse, you will be responsible for monitoring the baby and the mother, coaching mothers, and assisting doctors during deliveries.

Responsibilities
  • Provide individualized care to patients during labor and childbirth
  • Monitor fetal heart rates and maternal vital signs
  • Assist with deliveries and provide postpartum care
  • Collaborate with obstetricians and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient care
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A current RN license in the state of Texas
  • Experience in Labor and Delivery nursing
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of labor and delivery nursing procedures and protocols
