Job Description

The Senior Precision Machinist position involves producing machine parts by setting up and operating multiple CNC Machines. Key responsibilities include:

  • Operating and maintaining CNC Machines to produce high-quality parts
  • Providing technical support to other machinists, including work assignments and troubleshooting issues
  • Collaborating with the business unit manager to meet daily business goals

This role requires strong attention to detail, safety consciousness, and a commitment to quality work. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work well under pressure, and possess strong problem-solving abilities.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, candidates must have:

  • Experience with CNC Machines and machining processes
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience

Candidates should also be proficient in reading and interpreting documents such as blueprints, MOTs, and written work instructions. Additionally, they should have the ability to do math conversions for material and machine usage as well as inventory control.
