Focus Staff is seeking a travel MRI technologist for a contract position in Fort Smith, Arkansas.

We are currently seeking a licensed MRI technologist to join our team in Fort Smith, AR. The ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge of procedures and patient safety, as well as excellent communication skills.

The successful candidate will possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • Two years of continuous experience as a MRI technologist
  • License in required state
  • BLS
  • Knowledge of MRI protocols and procedures
  • Effective oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to learn applications relevant to the position

Responsibilities:

  • Operate magnetic resonance imaging equipment to produce cross-sectional images of patients' bodies
  • Perform patient studies according to set protocol
  • Interview patients to explain procedures and address concerns
  • Ensure patient and staff safety
  • Orient new hires and train MRI technologists, students, and trainees
