Position Overview: We are in search of Registered Nurses for our Bear Creek Facility.

Sign-On Bonus: $5,000

Compensation: $38.00 per hour

Work Schedule: 1st and 2nd shifts

1st Shift: 7am-7pm 2nd Shift: 7pm-7am

As a nurse at RHA, you will have the chance to practice holistic nursing, significantly impacting the lives of those we serve by providing comprehensive healthcare oversight and monitoring.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver holistic nursing care to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Observe, assess, and evaluate the health needs of the individuals supported. Provide health-related training to unlicensed staff. Educate individuals on health monitoring and administer medication training when appropriate. Administer medications and treatments or assist individuals with medication administration. Ensure that preventative and routine medical appointments are scheduled. Conduct medication closest assessments. Perform quality assurance checks to ensure unlicensed personnel fulfill health-related tasks as assigned. Collect health-related data. Conduct nursing assessments. Report any abnormal health findings to the physician. Communicate effectively with physicians, pharmacies, medical suppliers, and the Interdisciplinary Team. Advocate for individuals supported and assist in developing community resources to promote optimal health.

Qualifications:

Graduation from an accredited registered nurse program. BSN preferred, but not mandatory. Current nursing license with no restrictions. Effective communication skills with Interdisciplinary Team Members, individuals supported, and their families. Ability to work independently, stay organized, and prioritize tasks. Current CPR Certification or eligibility to obtain certification.
