Key Responsibilities- Perform hybrid imaging procedures using PET/CT and SPECT/CT technology to diagnose and treat various medical conditions.
- Calculate, order, administer, and record radioactive isotopes to ensure accurate and safe patient care.
- Instruct patients on exam preparations and ensure proper identification to maintain patient safety and satisfaction.
- Conduct quality control procedures and maintain compliance standards to ensure the highest level of patient care.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to deliver exceptional patient care and achieve optimal outcomes.
- CNMT or ARRT(N) certification to demonstrate expertise in nuclear medicine technology.
- New York State DOH Nuclear Medicine License to practice in the state.
- Current CPR certification to ensure patient safety.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development to stay current with industry advancements and best practices.
- NMTCB(CT) or ARRT(CT) certification to demonstrate expertise in PET/CT imaging.
- Experience with PET/CT imaging to provide a competitive edge in patient care.
