About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Ultrasound Technologist to join our team at Mass General Brigham. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for operating ultrasonic equipment and performing diagnostic procedures to provide high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review patient history and clinical data to facilitate optimal diagnostic results.
  • Explain procedures to patients to ensure cooperation and optimal test results.
  • Select and operate appropriate ultrasonic equipment to perform diagnostic procedures.
  • Store and retrieve images using PACS.
  • Assist physicians with procedures such as amniocentesis, CVS, and fetal interventions.
  • Provide on-the-job training to students and residents.
Requirements
  • A minimum of high school diploma and successful completion of an accredited school of Ultrasound Technology.
  • Must be certified by the RDMS (Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers).
  • Knowledge of ultrasonic imaging and equipment.
  • Effective interpersonal and communication skills.
